Release v3.95 - 18 December 2016
This release brings some audio enhancements and some bug fixes:
- DSP Pack v5.4:
- Added native support for 64-bit arm architectures.
- Various bug and stability fixes.
- Updated the icons in the settings menu.
- Fixed a bug preventing to zoom out on the lyrics display screen.

Release v3.93 - 12 November 2016
This release brings some audio enhancements and some bug fixes:
- DSP Pack v5.3:
- Added support for x86 architecture (android phones with intel CPU).
- Added native support for 64-bit architectures (arm64 and x86_64).
- Various bug and stability fixes.
- Fixed a bug preventing to play downloaded audio files when the DSP Pack is activated.
- Fixed a bug preventing to share album artwork on certain songs.
- Fixed a bug causing PlayerPro to crash when editing certain audio tags.
- Fixed a bug preventing to clear album artwork on certain songs.
- Various other bug, performance and stability fixes.
- Updated translations.
Release v3.92 - 01 November 2016
This release brings some bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug causing gapless playback to malfunction for certain audio file types (m4a, aac, mp4).
- Fixed a bug causing the default equalizer to be unresponsive when using custom band levels.
- Fixed a bug causing the ratings to disappear when using audio files as rating system (Windows Media Player, MediaMonkey, Winamp).
- Various other bug, performance and stability fixes.
- Updated translations.
Release v3.9 - 11 October 2016
This release brings some audio enhancements and some bug fixes:
- DSPPack 5.0 release:
- New 32/64-bit audio rendering engine with high-resolution audio support.
- Automatic detection of internal and USB DAC configurations (USB DACs require Android 5.0+).
- Direct output to internal/USB DAC format without any limitation.
- Support of bit depths and sampling rates up to 32-bit and 384 kHz.
- Choice between SW (high quality, default) and SoX (very high quality) resamplers.
- Ability to change the resampler dithering method.
- Option to output in mono format.
- Option to display song metadata in notification area (codec, duration, bit depth, sampling rate, bitrate, channel layout): Settings / Look and feel / Song metadata.
- Upgraded all codecs (many bug fixes and performance improvements). Added few new codecs: ape, opus, mpc.
- Option to select between two equalizer implementations: Settings / Audio / Equalizer. PlayerPro high-end equalizer: 64-bit high-resolution equalizer (default on high end devices). PlayerPro low-end equalizer: 16-bit high-performing equalizer (default on low-end devices).
- High-resolution 64-bit audio effects (bass boost and virtualizer).
- Runs inside the same process as PlayerPro.
- Various bug and stability fixes (no more random crashes).
- Added some new presets.
- Added audio focus settings: Settings / Audio / Audio focus.
- Fixed some bugs impacting phones that have migrated to Android Nougat (e.g. player starting on its own).
- Various bug and stability fixes.
- Updated translations.
Release v3.83 - 31 May 2016
This release brings some new features and some bug fixes:
- Added an option to display the song remaining time instead of the song duration on the player screen: Settings / Look and feel / Remaining time.
- Added support for system sound effects panels: allows to use phone/vendor specific sound effects panels like Samsung SoundAlive, Dolby Atmos etc. Go to Settings / Audio / System sound effects to activate them (requires a restart of PlayerPro).
- Fixed a bug causing the notification text color to appear dark with dark themes (affecting expanded notifications only).
- Various bug and stability fixes.
- Updated translations.
Release v3.8 - 30 April 2016
This release brings some new features and some bug fixes:
- Gapless playback support (even without the DSP Pack activated): Settings / Audio / Gapless playback.
- Ability to set the playback pitch and speed (requires Android M, not compatible with the DSP Pack): Settings / Audio / Playback pitch and speed.
- Various bug and stability fixes.
- Updated translations.
